Kirk Scaffolding was recommended to the client following initial design submission. The project was to replace the lead and over clad roof above the top-floor gallery. The location of the building created several issues with full public access to remain at all times below the work area. The inner face of the building is above a public dock area and no scaffold could be erected from the ground. The design had to be developed from the building above, gallows brackets and modular beams were utilized to bolt the full structure to the wall at high level (25.00m above ground). The full suspended access scaffold had to be built progressively from a small cradle platform.
